Social Studies
I received my B.S. Ed. in Elementary Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I am certified in Elementary Education and Middle Level Social Studies.
I started teaching school at Cordell in 2013. I taught third grade for two years. This year I am teaching 5th grade History and 6th grade Geography.
Prior to teaching, I worked in the Washita County Courthouse in the District Attorney's Office for fifteen years.. As the Victim Witness Coordinator I assisted children and adults who were victims of a crime. I provided assistance in locating needed services, preparing for and attending court hearings, and helping victims in reimbursement for any financial burdens they incurred.
Teaching has always been my dream and I am thankful for the opportunity to teach your child.
I am married Tim Wedel in 1990. We have lived on a farm where Tim raises cattle and farms. We have one son, Tyler, who is a sophomore.
When I am not at school I spend time with my family and friends, watching Tyler play sports, and watching movies. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and Pinteresting.
