We own and operate East Hill Carwash in Cordell as well as a small farm in Washita
Our two children, Emerson and Oran, attend Cordell Elementary. Emerson will be in
1st grade this year, and Oran will be in Kindergarten. I graduated from Garden City
Community College in 2006 and worked as a John Deere Technician for several years. I
was hired as the Diesel Technology Instructor at Western Technology Center where I

to pursue my business goals. Our family is active in First Baptist Church and I serve as
a volunteer for the Cordell Fire Department.
Cordell and the community are important to our family and we knew we wanted to
raise our children within the Cordell School District. I am excited for the opportunity to
serve on the Cordell Board of Education and I hope to use my knowledge and
experiences as a former educator and current business owner to benefit our school
system through this role.
I graduated in 2000 from Cordell Public Schools and obtained my Insurance and
Financial Services License in 2010. While working at State Farm Insurance under Terry
Bryant I obtained a wealth of knowledge in the insurance industry. In May 2015, I went
on to open my own Insurance and Financial Service agency for Farmers Insurance. I am
currently President of Cordell Academic Foundation and a member of Cordell Chamber
of Commerce. I enjoy teaching Sunday School and attending Cordell First Baptist

I am excited to serve on the Cordell Public Schools Board of Education because I believe
in our school system, and I love our community. I feel this is an opportunity for me to
serve and be a positive impact for our children’s future. All board members bring their
unique talents and life experiences to the table and together as a team, we will
accomplish goals for a successful school system.
