State Board of Education Update:
At today's state Board of Education meeting, the board decided not to enact any new mandates regarding face coverings, school building access by students, staff or the public, instructional delivery or extracurricular activities.
However, the board did agree to provide health and safety protocol recommendations to districts as guidance. The recommendations were tied to the state's color-coded COVID-19 alert system, which is updated on a weekly basis.
Cordell Schools is in the process of reviewing these guidelines and will communicate our expectations soon.
