The Cordell Student Council is excited to host the "12 Days of Christmas" event running until the end of the semester! Students who brought an ornament for our Christmas tree received a ticket for a chance to win in our daily drawing. Each day, we will announce winners, culminating in a grand prize drawing at the semester's conclusion. Wednesday's winners were Melanie Cody and Paityn Dudgeon. They received an ornament cup, filled with candy. Stay tuned for more winners during the 12 days of Christmas! 🎄🎄

Cordell Junior High and High School students will be celebrating 12 Days of Christmas Spirit. Along with fun dress up days and activities, our students will be participating in service projects to benefit the Cordell Community.
Cordell STUCO would like to invite the entire community to join in our service projects. The donation boxes for the Cordell Blessing Box will be in the front HS lobby from Tuesday (3rd)- Monday (16th). Any dog or cat food donations for CASP can be dropped off at the front lobby from Monday (9th)- Friday (13th).


🎉 High School Faculty Underground Spirit Week Recap! 🎉
This week, STUCO brought the spirit before the holiday spirit with our underground Spirit Week! Faculty and students had some much-needed fun leading up to Thanksgiving break.
🌴 Monday: Summer Vacation vibes had us dreaming of sunny days.
🥤 Tuesday: “Anything But a Cup” sparked creativity—coffee in a flower pot, anyone?
🎄 Wednesday: Crazy Christmas outfits made it feel like December!
🖤 Thursday: Blackout Day was sleek and stylish.
🎒 Friday: Teachers dressed like students… hoodies, crocs, and all!

Cordell hosted the district meet for the OAAC Mid-Level academic bowl on Wednesday, November 13. Composed of five 7th graders and one 8th grader, the team ended the day with a 2-1 record scoring 390 points, winning the tournament. The next step is the regional meet, schedule TBA.


📚🏆 Proud of the Cordell High School Academic Team for their outstanding performance at the Regional Academic Bowl in Walters, OK! After an early start with three students auditioning for All-State Vocal in Edmond before even competing, our team gave it their all. Out of 6 teams, we finished as runner-up! A huge congratulations to all of our hardworking students for their dedication, resilience, and teamwork.


Senior, Grayson Selman, has been honored with the DAR Good Citizen Award. Nancy Lisle, DAR representative, visited CHS to notify Grayson of the award.

Our partners at Western Technology Center are hosting a Mental Health Community Forum on December 5th at 6 pm at their Elk City Campus. This forum is open to the public.

The Cordell Cross Country team showcased their talent at the regional competition on Saturday, held at Oklahoma Bible Academy in Enid. Calliy Walker led the charge, securing first place with an outstanding performance. Jacob Vela also delivered an impressive finish, demonstrating his dedication and skill. Eathan Fenning capped off the meet with great determination, concluding his season on a high note.
Both Calliy and Jacob are set to advance to the state competition next Saturday, November 2, at Edmond Santa Fe in Edmond, Oklahoma. We encourage everyone to come out and support these exceptional athletes as they compete at the state level. Stay tuned for ticket information and race times, which will be shared later this week!
