Cordell MidLevel Academic Team Shines at OAAC Regionals!
On December 9th, Cordell’s MidLevel Academic Team proudly hosted the OAAC Regional Meet at the First Baptist Church Life Center. We welcomed teams from Altus Christian, Burns Flat/Dill City, Hobart, Navajo, and Tipton for a day of academic competition.
After 5 exciting rounds, Cordell earned Runner-Up, finishing with a 4–1 record and 590 points! The team now advances to the Area Meet, which will take place after Christmas break.

🏆 Cordell eSports Celebrates State Champion – Roberto Aguilar!
Huge congratulations to Roberto Aguilar, who won the state championship in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports (OKSE) Fall State Tournament! 🎮🎉
Roberto entered the tournament ranked 5th out of 253 high-school competitors and came out on top — showing incredible skill, focus, and dedication.
We’re also proud of our other qualifiers: Hunter Hamlett (8th), Collin Shaw (20th), and junior-high competitor Wesson Shaw (who placed 25th among state finalists). Together, they made Cordell eSports a team to watch this season.
Cordell eSports looks forward to growing more next year as OKSE partners with PlayVS & Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSA), bringing more opportunities for competition and growth. 💙

Jamie Brown has officially signed to continue her athletic and academic career playing NCAA Division II Golf at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU). Congratulations Jamie, we are proud of you.

Come out Friday, November 14 at 6 PM to meet our 5th–12th grade boys and girls basketball players, cheer team, and coaches! Players will be auctioned off and then take shots to raise money for our basketball program.
🍴 Dinner starts at 5 PM – Pulled pork sandwiches, chips, baked beans, dessert, and a drink for just $8! Grab a plate early and stay to enjoy the fun at 6 PM.
All proceeds directly support our basketball programs through equipment, and team expenses. We hope to see you there!

Cordell High School Academic Team Earns 5th Place at OGPA Conference
The Cordell High School Academic Team recently showcased their knowledge and teamwork at the Oklahoma Great Plains Academic Conference (OGPAC), competing against several schools from across western Oklahoma. The Blue Devils placed 5th overall, earning a total of 1,490 points in the tournament.
Team members representing Cordell were Samuel Lindsey, Turner Jones, Morgan Dixon, Bradley Regier, Deni Brice, Kemper Woodis, and Hunter Hamlett.
The Cordell High School team demonstrated strong collaboration, quick recall, and determination throughout the competition, proudly representing Cordell Public Schools in academic excellence.
